butterflies
I've felt the butterlies in my belly. People always talk about when they feel them, and i've felt them before, but its always so disarming when you feel them.
i say this because the guy who i like happened to come and plonked himself down next to me, in my room, and i felt them. I was, of course, shocked. Butterflies!
I also felt them last night when he came up, gave me a low five and asked if there were any RA's around. Lana and i had decided that we hadn't really had much or any fun all day, and damn it, we wanted to have some. So we popped over to Dene, where there was a 'party'. And it wasn't very good, just some drinking games in a corner and some people standing around looking board or drunk. So, after saying hi, we pretty much turned around and walked right back to nootka. We met our RA on the way down, and i tried to warn '4th' (we were walking, and we just randomly called the guys we liked 4th, because the guy i like lives on fourth, and it just kind of stuck and applied to everyone else's crush. Its also not as well known as crush, so we can feel very sneaky while saying it). Well, he didnt get it until he got back to his room, but it did result in him getting my phone number :P (and apparently he had asked some girls if they had my number, and told another girl from my floor that he needed to get my number :D)
Anywho, so lana and i ran over the couches in the nootka house lounge, and just had fun. We were thinking that maybe we should go and drink, or at least i thought lana should, as shes never been drunk before. And shes one of the few people i would share my booze with. Not to sound mean or anything, but i wouldn't do it for most of the girls on my floor. Don't get me wrong, i would take care of them, hang with them, party with them, but not share my booze with them. minako joined up with us after awhile, and so, on our wanderings we decided that we might as well borrow a movie. So, we were going to head up to fourth floor and pick a movie. While, our movie guy (my 4th, lol) wasnt in, surprise surprise, and so we were just wandering when we came across Eugene in the lounge, and so he was watching the flying circus, and there was a bit of a marathon going on. Seeing as how we all didnt really have anything to do, we all headed back to our lounge and just chilled watching some flying circus. And then 4th walked in, and sat next to me! (note, this was not the first time hes come into the lounge when i've been there. I was doing homework until about 9, and he popped into see what i was up to). Anyways, Lana gave me this look, and when 4th got up to leave, we jumped up and were like, hey can we borrow a movie? and so we all trudged upstairs, and hung out for awhile with some of the guys, got Super Troopers (we were in the mood for a comedy) and then came back to 3rd floor and my room, where we watched it. Seeing as how it was only about midnight, and the night was still relatively young,
so we headed back up, but found that tom and loktin had passed out. So i tiptoed around an unconscious loktin (who was in the middle of the floor), grabbed the dvd case and retreated back to the hallway. Where we put the movie back and then started to browse for another one. After some consideration, we decided on Club Dread, but before we could put the case (or vault, as some people call it) spencer showed up, along with beyong (this korean guy who had learned to speak english from an irish man, so he has an Irish accent), andrew (specners room mate), Daniel, CJ and Eugene. so we were all there, talking in the hallway, which woke up tom, who changed and came out and joined us.
So, there was essentially a party in the hallway. Random stuff just seems to like me, and i must admit that i dont mind. people have actually started to hang out with me because they know that something random tends to happen. Which i dont mind. Met some really great people when stuff like that happens. But anyways, we were there for easily 45 minutes, before we migrated to Spencer and Andrews room, which was actually just next door to toms room, and there we just sat and hung out, until about 1:30 am. When we deicded that we were tired and all the girls left together. But we did have some fun convos with the guys, and their getting to know girls from third (while, other girls from third anyways). And some girls from third are getting to know some guys from fourth.
Speaking of joining third and fourth, yesterday was `the day of the longboat``. So, seeing as how our team hadnt gotten regestered in time, i was going to head down and cheer on the team i knew of. Aka, Richa, eugene, Sebastion, Loktin, Hanne, Nicole, and Sara`s team. I couldnt get onto the first bus, as it was literally packed with people, but i did get on the next one and even got a seat. But because i missed the first bus, i missed seeing the `krakens tenticles` launch. But i sat on the beach for about an hour, and when they came in (and i recognized them, i had been taking pics of random groups which looked like them), i cheered and screamed and jumoed around. Everyone was cold, and wet, so they popped over to the hot tub, and soaked their tired feet. While, loktin and seabas pulled eugene in, but that was about it. And so we were all cold (me from sitting on the beach and the night before when i was with chelsea! damn it, will tell you about that later bloggert) so we decided that it might be time to head back. since i had thought i was going to be late, i hadnt brought a sweater, and so seabas gave me his, which i was thought was very sweet of him. Anyways, so we were about to go back to the bus stop, when we saw this tent, which we decided would be fun to huddle in. While there, we learned that there was a little contest going on, and it involved cars and was pratically a relay race. So, Richa, Seabass, Loktin and some other guy who had been on their team decided to do it. Eugene and i were like, fuck that, am cold and their the excited ones. We`ll just take the free waterbotle and lanard and take pics. While, i took pictures. It was really very fun to watch, and we would have had the best time if seabass had worn his seatbelt. meh, We had fun, and a couple good laughs, especailly when we looked at the white board, and saw that they had called us the Krakens testicles. damn, that was funny. But after that, we walked to hte bus stop, where i gave seabas back his sweater and we parted ways. So it was eugene, richa and i, waiting for the bus. Who stopped, even though it wasnt on his schudaled stop, but there were about 23 or so people there, and it was fairly obvious we were waiting for a bus.
and so we came back, and we were all frozen and had hot showers. Not warm, i mean hot. I couldnt feel the heat, just the water hitting my cold skin. Got my joints working again, which was a nice thing. And then i bundled up, and wandered around upstairs looking for something with a kick. vandee didnt have any brandy/whiskey, and neither of us particularly wanted the gin (he didnt want to share, i didnt want to drink it). daniel came to my rescue, and gave me the last bit of his rum, and wrapped me in a blanet. I heart that boy. I really do. Anywho, began to thaw and then we had to leave so he could do some homework.
When we got back to our room, eugene was there. He seems to live here now. Its slightly odd. He just shows up, and reads. So, t was decided that we have adopted him. Richa is like his father, and i'm something of a godmother. Anywho, we were talking about putting up a sign on our door saying when eugene is allowed in. Which we both cracked up at.
but yes, so he left, and richa was taking a nap (its saturday, and she usually sleeps all day, recharging her battery), and i just happened to be reading a really boring chapter in phsc. , and may have put my head down on the book, like i sometimes do. While, when i lifted my head up, i turned the page, and read some more. I looked up and richa wasnt in bed. I was pretty surprised, as i hadnt seen her move. So she ]in our room and asks if i want to sleep on the bed, and i asked why, i'm not tired .And she said i just had a nap. And then i hear vandees voice, and he says "i have to see this", and i was just sitting in my chair rather confused. So he comes in, sees i'm awake, and was like damn. Apparently, loktin and seabas had come back from wherever they were, and had come to see richa about some nail polish remover to remove some permadent marker from their faces. She had gotten up to pee, and she came back when they were right about to knock, and was like, "SHHH, shes asleep!"
so loktin and seabas came in and using my camera, took pics of us while i was napping. Theres one of them and me, each on one side posing with their thumbs up, one of richa going to beat me with a pillow, and one of ivy and richa making the little sleeping pose. I was shown these almost immediatly by richa. She didnt know if i was going to like it or not (she knew i probably wouldnt be mad, but just to be on the safe side...) I thought it was damn funny!the pics really cracked me up! But everyone seemed to know about them already. And my nap had been only 20-25 minutes. So, frickin funny. didnt feel cold after that, and had a lot of enegry. Was able to finish my chapter without drifting off.
went up and gave loktin his water bottle (he had put it in my backpack), and then we had some laughs, and talked about halloween. I dont know if hes hanging around for thanksgiving, but damn i hope so. Meant to be a party weekend, and hes a funny kid. So, the two would naturally go together. I know alot of people who are going home for thanksgiving, but i'm not. cant afford it, and so this will be the first one i miss. My mom sent out this really pretty shirt , as a thanksgiving present, and so i'm going to find a reason to wear it during the weekend, just to feel a little closer to them. she keeps asking me if i have plans, which would involve wearing the shirt. She can be a hardriding bitch at times, but she can also be extremely cute and funny.
