I know its been awhile, and that i should say something like i've been too busy to talk or have some amazing stories to tell, but the truth is, i just haven't gotten on the computer and to the site.
I've been doing very little lately. I went and got a job at Timmy's bloggert, but that didn't work out very well. I mean, for the most part i really like my co-workers, and i enjoy the job. I've only made one sandwich for them, which wasn too great, and one of the cash register doesn't like me, but i love making the coffee. Its always nice to be needed, and it was a weekend morning, and we were busy and me and a co-worker named Chelsea had a system. She would do cash, i took care of coffee and drinks (i'm not too shabby at making ice caps, woot!). I would also help with getting donuts and bagels and such. It worked well, and we had quiet a time. I enjoy working there, but my boss is a bit of a jerk. His first language is Spanish, and one of the bakers does too, so they tend to speak in Spanish in the kitchen. Luckily, 4 years of school Spanish taught me something (though i admit I've forgotten most of it), and i don't really like him. He insults people in Spanish. And he keeps changing my work times and then canceling them all together. But not before jerking me about on the phone, getting me to call day after day. SO I'm going to exercise tough love on him, and hopefully extend my hours. That way, i can get some more cash and then i will have a little safety net when i head off to university. I know its not a necessity, but its nice having a slight back up, allowing for maybe a nice meal (aka, other then caf food), maybe replenish some supplies immediately instead of writing home asking for them, pretty much allowing for some additional independence.
I defiantly need a good paying summer job. You work hard, you can then enjoy it a little while later. Plus, over time and such fills time. I don't like having a lot of spare time on my hands. I'm not a work-workaholic or anything, but i like doing stuff with my hands, doing something stimulating, something useful or constructive. I dunno, it sounds kind of funny, and odd, but hey, thats me! I mean, yah, i like reading books and such, i do crafts when watching tv, doing stuff. Woot. Sometimes, i wish i was more of a people person, with more people skills, or maybe a little (or a lot) smarter, more athletic, more something. Special, someone with talent or charisma, with a little spice or something.
4:30 am thoughts. What can i say?
Tasha mad at me because i'm not a great people person. Neither is she, but she had one of her mood swings, and got crabby, and amber asked why she was being so bitchy (i asked why she was being a crabby ass), and then she got all pissy, and when i talked to her, she got all mad and kind of focused all her anger on me. Pinnacle point, hurrah. Anywho, we got into a little scuff, and so then we each put our feet in our mouths, and then agreed we should get together and get over it, but we're both stubborn, which we also agreed on. Its funny, when your mad and having a fight over MSN (cause thats always a good idea, NOT), things can get a little messy and misinterpreted. Like a lot of things in life. Randomly, i talked to willy for the first time in quiet awhile, and we talked about some random stuff. i realised how much i missed him. We may never have met face to face, nad usually people you meet over MSN you're not meant to believe what they say or whatever, but a friend of a good friend, i believe.
Life is odd. I went to the river today. AT the start of the day, i was feeling very lethargic due to the heat, so we went to the river a little earlier then planned, and immediately felt better. i got to splash around in the deeper parts, and the 'cold' didnt bother me. It bothered aya, and so she didnt come in as much. I still somehow managed to get a bit of a red tinge, hopefully not a sunburn (the water intensified the suns ray, making the exposure worse then originally). man, i feel smart for knowing that! lol, anywho, it gave me some color, and looks kind of funny, as my bathing suit has a high neck line. Meh. unlike my sister, i really dont mind tan lines all that much. As long as their not crazy strange, i'm good. And i dont go tanning. I just dont like lying still that long and just tanning. Plus, i'd like to avoid skin cancer later in life. Though i do enjoy dying/highlighting my hair.
I've moved on from watching "Big Wolf ON Campus" episodes to "Bones". Sadly, one of the episodes has frozen part way through and made me sad. I like to buy the box set of shows i like, to support the show, help stop internet piracy (which i will admit, i do indulge in when curious about a new show, or trying to find old shows i used to like. Their also what i watch until i can get the box set), as well as being able to take it with me where ever i go! I like box sets because they also have special features. I like special features, finding out a little bit more, an extra interesting tid bit to store away. Plus, i really like the behind the scenes stuff. Being someone who has worked on school plays (i know, i know, not much merit, but it makes me feel involved, and i enjoy the whole process). Also commentaries! Woot!
This is going to be one of those nights when i can't get any sleep. I have these types of nights every so often, and their not particularly enjoyable. I know how to ride them out now, and how to make it look like I've slept. I blame the insomnia i had in grade 9. Blah. Anywho, in about 1 hr, i have to shut my beloved computer and then pretend to be asleep in bed, or somewhere and then wait until he goes to work. Woot. Like i said, i know how to ride this out. Sleep in early the next day, joyas.
I've boughten a lot of movies lately. HMV was having a sale, and when boredom reigns, then movies are a fall back. Mikie promised to bring some movies over for me to watch, but currently nothing. But now i do understand some of the movie references that people make ! Woot. but anyways, am preparing for a brain nulling soon. And possibly falling to the ipod ideal. And i'm trying to decide which one to choose.. But more pressingly, how to get Dax (my lovely laptop) connected to the internet, and up-loading itunes, so i can up-load cd's! Woot...expect being a troglodyte does tend to put a slight dent in that plan...blahhh...
brains are interesting things....
i like this whole automatic save thingy going on here.....
people are odd...and yet interesting and despicable at the same time...
being a hermit does sometimes have its perks. Observing, not getting involved. Can be somewhat lonely at times, which makes me happy i can be a hermit and a semi-people person too! Woot for adaptation!
Technology is great!
