thursdays shindig, wacky hiar and friday blues
I thin i will continue to fill everyone in on thurdays events, before i tell of fridays.
After the lusious play, we went back to the school for our rides home. I managed to con mother to let s drop zac off on our way by. All went pretty smoothly, until she mentioned something about him i had told her to shut the b**ch up with. The good news was, she had shut up for a whole glorious week. Then, she had thought zac was gay. After meeting him, right after we closed the door and he walked down the drive way, she turned to me and said "he was a nice boy...are you two dating?".
Can you imagine me and zac dating?
Oh, i swear this time i did crack something...
So, i got home at about 5:30, did most of my soical, then went right to rangers. Still with wacky hair.
The first thing everone noticed when they walked into the room was my hair, which is a pretty big change for me. They all had different reactions, like lorien trying to lock me in, Jill saying WHOA, colleen tugging it, gillian saying "Who got you?", cassie saying "how long hvae i really been away for", and my personal favorite, lensey saying "what the hell happened to rebecca?".
It was a very lively meeting, and loren even brought a friend. Suprises for all, that night.
And colleen had just come back from a disney land. She has this goal to travel to each disney land at least once, and she thought she had done the last one. But no, there is one openeing in Japan, so her crusad is not over. She brought us each back a clicky pen (which we all clicked for an hour before we were asked to stop), and a lolly pop. I gave mine to linsey cause she was late and didn't get one, and couldn't bring myself to eat winny the poo.
On the way home, i was ver tired, so my mother gave me a coke. I was wired until 2 am, and i manged to finsh all but the picture in my poerty portfolio. I only had about half, but i was muy muy excited. It was sad, and actaully pretty scary.
Was a dead head friday morning, and finished my enligh in social studies. Science was hell, as i missed a class and was alreayd pretty behind. Spanish we worked on pinyattas, which was pretty fun. In enligh, we handed in our portfolios at the start of class, then we had to present our 3D poems, by standing in front of the class, and reading it aloud. Ben tilmens was actually pretty good, it was all about common sense and stopping. ZAcs was in the shape of a bar code, and it was, lke most of his poems, confuseing to soem and demonic to others. I ahve always found them quite enjoyable actually, but hey, thats me. When i went, i read the poem about the girl who overdoese to try and make things better for her family. As i read it, James eyes got wider and wider, some people got whiter and whiteer, and zacs smile got bigger and bigger. Miss hurtzberg (or HB as zac calls her) didn't say anything as she wrote down a bunch of stiff. Overall, i thought i did pretty good though. Some poems stand out in my mind though. Collen covils, about hockey, made me see why he and matt c are always so into it, why they love it. James, becuase his was very funny, though it was about a serious (ish) subject. Brett's, because it was hallerious and he ate yogurt through it to show what he ment about his writing (which, was unsuprisingly about his yogurt). Matt c's, because he was soo nervous, and even thoguh i've known him for several years, i've never seen his nervious. I talked to him inbetween poems, and encouraged both him adn zac when it looked as if they would bolt for teh door. they both went, and they both did fine. Neither believed me.
So, for school my day was pretty good. The only sad part was when my friends (aya and blair) started to say how bad my hair looked in pig-tails, and how i shoudl talk them out. I got, they look horrible/patheic and that just really dropped my day. I quite enjoyed my pigtails, i had done them myself too. Blair wanted to put my hair in a bun., but the type of bun she ment was exactly the type my mother made me wear to ballet. Comebining my bad memories of ballet and my mother, i vowed when i dropped ballet to never wear my hair that way again. I looked in the mirror when i was at my locker, and my hair looked just fien to me. I let the, down in enligh only becuase they kept sweeping Zac in the face and he complained about it.
At 5:45, me and mother left for the MacDougle center. I had voluntered to help usher people, as Gillian and Linsey were both getting their silver pins presented to them. Lorne, Jill and i all went, and worked for a good hour before the cemerany began. It was shorten then we expected, so i got to leave an hour early. When i got hoem, it was 8:30, and i read To Kill A Mockingbird before i fell asleep.
I awoke at 8:30 this morning, and to allow zues to have more playing room, i cleaned quite a bit of the house. he didn't seem to care one way or another, but at least i tryed.
Opps, laundry's done, got to get to it before mother or pamela...
