Ugh Blah
well, i'm offically 17 now!!!! It may be 4 or5 days after my actual birthday, but as it is the first time i've been online in about 2 weeks, shut up!
I'm 17!! Tra la la la la!!!!
My actual birthday was rather uneventful. I checked my emails today and i got an email from aya, and amber called me once on the 26th, four minutes before my birthday and then twice on the actual day. That and the wellwishes from family was what i recieved. And man, i loved every single one. UNlike some of my family members, i dont rub in the fact that its my birthday, or that i have pressies while others do not. I prefer to laugh and smile, and the presents come after people. SImple. But i guess in such a materialistic world, thats not all that common. Bloggert, you are so lucky to live in the net. Never having to worry about possestions and all that they imply and decieve you with.
I didn't get an actual birthday cake. I got to take home some of my grndpa's (his birthday is the day after mine), and as it was angel food cake, my all time favorite cake, i was thrilled. My grandmother made it, and i look forwards to it every year. In my opnion, its one of the few good things about birthdays.
On friday, aya came and picked me up from the school. She and T took me to cochrane, where i had my first meal out with friends, and my second meal on a patio. They wouldn't let me help pay.... which was wierd. I've never had that happen before. It was also the longest period of time i've ever spent in cochrane . ANd i enjoyed myself. I bought a peice of art (a painting labled "Raven Moon", continueing my fasination with ravens)and scratch boards, a very good quality for good prices.
it, honetly, was one of the best days of my life.
that night, i, being who i am, knonked out. We had gone to the river earlier, and i had been almost sucked down. Which was odd. BUt whatever, a nice warm shower with a friend cured me of the cold (if you dont know which friend that is, then bloggert, you need to read mroe carefully). The next day, aya and T suprised me with my pressie. They gave me a manicure, a pedicure (the first one i've ever had!!) and a face mask. And they refused to let me do anything. And frankly, i STILL feel GORGIOUS!!!!! and i think that they look so good, i'm going to try and keep them in better conditions then i usually do.
Man, i love those two. So sneaky, and yet they always manage to win your heart over no matter what.
Davo is being a misguided soul, guided by his puppy-dog heart which has become fixacted on a cow. IN all but appearence. man, i can see someone sneaking up on her and tipping her.....*insert random crazed laughter here*.
I missed the humongo storm yesterday. Calgary (which i have ben informed is alot like Manatoba) has just crazed weather, so that when i was at ayas it was hailing and raining with no end in sight (all's we got was sun
:[ ) . But theres a thunder storm warning for this afternoon, so i am ubber happy about that!!! I love storms!!!! theres just something about them that makes me feel..... great.wonderful.happy. I dont know if its the charged particles produced, or the sound/feel of the rain. I just love them. All of them. I like the sun too, but it has its moments when its just the best thing since sliced bread, and other times when i curse it.
I love being me!!! No one else is, which is good as i insist on being unique!!!
Man, random.... which is ok, as my mind is currently out to lunch and left me behind.... MAH HA HA HA HA...what a wonderful cheery thought... ha ha, cheery and cherry are almost the same word....woot.....i like cheese and gum... not together......
