catching up, frekaing out and overall experencing the end of school thrall
Ok guys, please don't hate me. Somewhere along the lines of being a hermit, i have gotten a life. I have no idea how this has occured.
So, here's a quick up-date (thats all i have time for you, ssorry).
The leasder ship conference was a blast. The only part that got to me was our host family (me, andera and the other girl, can not remember her name) stayed with these super christens, who hide on the other side of the house from us for the most part and were kinda intesnse. The dance was fun, though it could have been alot better. We all agreed (me, aya, kindra, and alica) that we would be "skankaloons" (alica's new cool word) and that we could be as slutty as we want as there is a superb chance that we would never see any of those people again.
I believe i was the only one who walked away from that conference without email addresses. Oh wellz, i don't really care. Alot of the people there were kinda snooty and mean.
The comidenians (or what they called motivation speaks) were halelrious and i could not stop laughing. The bands were decent, and the activities were pretty fun.
WE got alot of stuff, and it was a very good experence i believe. WE might be going to the national one, as it is in alberta this year (last year it was in newfoundland).
ON the 20th, we had to do our spanish foods presentations (it was the last day). I got to go first, and i had made Enchaladas. They were a huge hit and i came home without any left!!!!Rory and Kyle had so many, and they fought over the last one. It was rather nice, having boys fight over something aout me, even if that something is food. Glenn was in a place around two hours away from montreal, and got third place IN ALL OF FRIGGIN CANADA!!!! So, go GLenn!!!
The 21st was nicks grad, and that was pretty fun. I bumped into amber, chels and david heist, who mom thought was zac and snuck up and blinded us both with her devilish flash. It was really nice to talk to him again, and he recieved no death threats from anyone while i was there, so it was all good. We apparently just missed tory, so my loss i guess.
For the next bloody week i was super sick, and only managed to drag myself out of bed (or off the coutch, as the first two days went) on thursday to go to my band preformace in red deer. Over all, i did pretty good for a sick flute, and the adjucator dude didn't think i did too bad either. So that was pretty good. I brought a pillow and i used that, and nat brough manga, so i got to read two books of it and finally understand what they talk about when they refer to alot of things from Gungan seed, which in itself is very enjoyable.
That day i also missed the ranger meeting at the cheesecake cafe. Sadly i wasn't up for it after the red deer trip.
I missed the garage sale in bragg creek, but blair picked me up two things ( the barenstene bears 'B' book, and a rather nice cross stitch design). Blair is a very big sweetie pie.
Last week i caught up to what i had missed, mostly.
THis week will provide to be very hectic. Todya we had our last band practise ever,and our final, end of the year preformace will be wed. I have my soc final essay tomorrow, and a sci chapter test and an english prject due wed. Later in the week i have a spa tests, and i also have to write a social essay.
Last thursday, friday, sta and sun were all veyr speical though. ON thursday, my rangers group went down to northland (or north soemthing) mall, and went shopping for fabric for our picture quilts. Mom got a fabric land card as fannies fabric is closing, which is very sad. I now have some awesome material and will soon have a bundle of time to make things.
On friday was carniegraw. which was pretty fun i guess. I worked the front desk for two hours, then dances the next two away. At times i felt alittle slutty, alot of the time i felt out classed and nervious, and other times i was on a cafene high and didn't have a thoguht in my head. Aya was having a bad evening, thoguh as it wore on it got better and she ended up crashing at dallas's house, as her rides weren't comming. Pam was there and was a slut as usual, nick was nick, and i was shy. Nat and blair had sooo many guys checking them out, that it made me feel like those left overs in teh friudge which falls behind something and molds over. AKA, no one een wants to touch it. Thats how i walked away feeling. Dallas danced with us, and that made me feel really body concious, and i know no one else really knows this, but i'm not attracted to him in THAT way. I mean, i think i still have some feelings for david, and its going to take alot for me to like someone again. ANd well ,aya kinda has claims on dallas, though i don't think she knows that.
Oh well. Life is very confusing.
ON saturday, i went over to griffin for alittle job thingy. Much to my suprise, Rachiel brown was there, but i guess that could provide very useful come teh summer months. can anyone say possible ride?? ANyways, it was pretty fun, even though me and tory got split up, at times i felt like a complete and utter idot and the horse i was on, sleat, was a total bitch. Other then that, i had a blast. My butt still feels kinda wierd, yet i have to work on that and hope for nothing worse then a few aches and pains.
On sunday we popped into my grandmas, and she cooked us dinner. It was reallyt nice seeingthem again, and especially6 when i probally wont get to see them agin until after exams.
Well, i got to go and study, so take care
ps, i got a note today from david s, and a tricksterish part of me sang inside my head "he sent me, ME<, a note and not blair" i know that aweful and all, but after carniegraw, it went along ways to rebuilding my self confidence. He also called me muffin :D No one has ever called me muffin before...
