Braids of steel, Conference heebie jeebies, and other assorted things that are the product of my deranged mind
Today is the day!!! At 1 pm, we will be awaiting to leave for the "leadership" conference.
YAY!!!
From what i understand, there will not be too much leadership (like, half an hours worth at most) and then its like a ginormious party!! YAY!!! and i get to do a homestay, and ride in a hay wagon and miss monday of school and most of tuesday. DOUBLE YAY!
Too bad not too many other cool people can come, and that zues can't either. But i think most would be happier at home anyways, so let them have thier fun there. YAY!!!! Am so excited!!!! I am wearing my hair in briads for some reason... YAY!!
WE got these books from the middle school libary (they were discarding them, horrid people) and we got em, and alot of em are cool. There s this one called the rejects, and it tells about ideas that people had that at the time everyone else thought stupid, yet now they are booming businesses. Like Jello. For around a decade no one wanted it, and it went through two owners, one of whom tried to sell the whole thing (warehouse, title and stock, everything!!) for $35. NOw, everyone (almost, anyways. Jello= icky) loves jello and has a bunch of it stached somewhere in their unsuspecting house.
ANd the guy who discoevered oxygen also discoevered soda water, which he named rubber. Wierd stuff like that, which is really pretty cool.
I need another book box. Heh heh heh, i still don't hvae a book shelf......:D
anyways, best go and finish final preparitions. OOh, must mention something very big before i do though: I hvae programmed my watch to beep everyhour, on the hour. One short little beep. I have also magaed to figure out how to set the timer. I still don't know how to change the actual time on the watch, but i believe myself to be getting closer, and i am very proud of what i have already done.
Anyways, best leave and check up on everything nd explain to Zues where i will be for the next few days. Poor guy, has to sleep in the boys room, and for the past few days its smelt kinda funky...
