parites, chinese new year and inuyasha
Tory's party was great!!! when nat and amber came home with me, i had just discovered that amber had to leave at about 4:30, so she would only get about half an hour with the birthday girl. So, i called and asked her tory's sister if they could try to get tory here for 3:30 instead. We had already made the cards, wrapped torys gag pressie (it was a large box filled with shredded newspapers and a small spud hidden within, while the box was wrapped with alot of packing tap, or as much as i could get as the thing was almost out so i had to really crisscross it), and hidden her real pressies, from me anyways. Amber helped me decorate the cake, by shaving white chocolate onto it. I cut myself, of course, and had to go get a bandaid. Then we watched Castle in the sky for alittle while, until we heard the door bell at 4.
Now, at this point we went into a frenzie. We had several ideas as to what to do, but we didn't know which one ws better. In teh end, amber held zues and her and tasha stood behind the wall that you pass by to get into the living room form the front hallway. I opened the door, and my mother armed with the disposible (she couldn't find the video camera) hide so she could get a shot of tory when she walked in. I answered the door.
Tory seemed so sad when i opened it, that i couldn't stop smiling. SHE HAD NO IDEA!! So i kept my head down ,letting my hair wash over my face, thrus hiding my curved lips. I muttered some stuff, and told them to come in. Then i told tory my mother was in the living room, and there amber and nat and me said SUPRISE.
She just started at zues, and it seemed she wasn't getting it. She ointed her finger at zues and said "YOU!" and he did his little eye bat at her and purred.
When she got that it was a suprise party, she was shocked. When we showed her the cake and pressies, she was even more shocked. Her mothe tossed her a plastic bag and told her to have fun sleeping over. Then, she left without tory.
We kept laughing and joking and having a great time. Tory opened amber and nats pressies, then struggled with mine. We kept making jokes like "box 1, tory nothing". She actually got all the tape off, then realised that she could have opened the lid about half way in. It was histerical.
She loved her spud! She opened miss mathoys pressies, and was caught off guard. Then she opened mine. All money spent was worthless compared to the l0ok on her face when she opened Digimon and INuyasha. When amber left, we said ur farewells, and later oredered pizza and had cake . Both were pretty good, but TORY HAD ONE CANDEL LEFT!!! SHE LIKES SOMEONE!!!!!! heh heh heh. Even she was ubber suprised.
When nat left, it was just the two of us. WE relaxed even more, if thats possible, as we got ready for bed. We sat up for awhile and talked. It was nice. And zues wasn't being too much f a rasical.
IN the morning, we were up at about 8 am. Twas nice, just the two of us. I thoguht it was funny that tory kept forgetting it was her birthday. We went into china town at about noon, and my mom gave us each $20, which was very uncharastic of her. She was probally trying to look good to tory or soemthing, but what ever. It bought us lots of happyness.
Tory got her name in japanese, and it ment something like accumilation of many things, or something like that. Hers actually means something, which was cool. Mine means shell, beauty and something else, which i can never remember, so me and tory decided insanity. We went from booth to booth, and sa some really amazing stuff. WE also saw alot of expensive stuff. IN the end, she (tory) got her name in japanese, a fortune (bamboo), and four inuyasha posters. I got a small glass dragon, a bamboo fortune, a luck coin and four inuyasha posters. Both me and tory got on that mouts on the wall, and three posters. We even got one for nat. And the wall mounters were $7, while the other were $3.25. Considering that smaller posters were worth $30 at anime places, we have a new god. They also have some really nice stuff in that store at the chinese culteral center, and its pretty good princes for it. In the booths, the same stuff was about $15 for one of ouir $3 posters.
We also went to this amazing chinese restruant. It was soooo good. And me and tory were actually pretty good with chopsticks. I only had to stab things with them three times. Very, very proud. And their sweet and sour pork.....(drools). It is the best thing i have ever tasted. It was crispy on the outside and most on the inside. It was spiced, seasoned and had a delicate sauce, that made me go wild.
Oh yes, i also have a hat of happyness that i found in my bedroom. Must wear someday...
Anyways, i have to go. I hvaen't doenm any homework as of yet, and i have three tests on monday and tuesday, along with band, so i must flee.
