the birds, bees and automatic rifles
I read a book last night. Not just any book thoguh. It was one my friend aya lent me awhile ago, and i never got around to reading past page 30. Its called Give a boy a gun. And as i read it, so much seemed to make sense. And i got a look at just how grusome high school can be.
Now, the book was all true, i might add before diving into an expliation. They went to middle town high, and weren'y popular or on the sports teams or anything. They drank and smoked and got high to drown out some of the pain they experenced from their yearmates. And the year mates were truely horriendious. They beat them, made fun of them unmercifully and not a single teacher stopped it. Why? BEcasue the ones who were doing the teaseign were the jocks, and they ruled the school. They were the teachers pets, and eveyone knew it.
And it disgused me as to what they kept telling themselves. Like, it wasn't us who caused it. It was the parenting. Like hell it was! That was only a small part of it. Time and time again these two boys were degrated and pushed down. They were treated worse then dirt, and no one stepped in to stop it. The councilers said all this cock and bull stuff so it was apparent they weren't to blame, yet everyone at that school was to blame. The popular croud was out of controll, and the gap is even bigger then at our school. And they sit there, and wonder why these boys did it? What drove them to do this? The cock and bullness that went on in their community. That is going on all around the united states, which an echo resisding through canada. And it is just sick the sistics that are on the bottom of some of the pages. One of the ones that stuck with me, 33 people are raped, A DAY, by people who use guns.
Rape, to me, is one of the most ugly words in the english language. Death, i can deal with. Its part of life. Rape is something different. Its scaring and ugly. And they had to change it to sexual assult as people on the stands would berak down becasue of that single word.
I would rather die then be rapped. It scraes me so much, almost as much as snakes and seaweed does. To be voilated like that... and the number of people who were raped is gorwing. Which makes me really mad that tazers and stun guns are illegal. Lets make weapons that kill more people the car crashes leagla, but make things that could save yourlife without taking another illegal? WHat is the use of goverment other then to blame and domener? They wont even keep the people safe.
I dont care. One day.i'm getting myself a good tazer or stun gun and carrying it around with me. Mase and essence of skunk might come in handy too. Better safe then sorry and be perpared are my mottos.
On a totally different note, i want a whip. Not one of those sexy toy ones, those are gross. I mean one like indiana jones has. How cool would that be?? And handcuffs. Though those are just for show.
I am wierd and i love it.
Also, (on another totally different note), my friend tory is truniong 16 next week. Exactly a week. And a bunch of us are attempting to put together a suprise party for her. SO we must be sneaky, but i sent out emails and only three people have responded. I need everyone to respond *cough cough aya balir cought* asap. Or call me. If i dont call you first ! MAH HA HA HA HA HA!!
